A leaked video reveals significant AI camera updates for the Google Pixel 8. The phone is set to introduce AI photo editing features like "Magic Editor," allowing users to create ideal photos by combining multiple shots and adjusting elements like smiles and expressions. This feature also enables the manipulation of image subjects and backgrounds, raising questions about the boundary between reality and digital manipulation in photography.

Furthermore, the Pixel 8 camera app will offer DSLR-style manual controls, including settings for shutter speed, ISO, and a focus slider, providing users with greater creative control over their photos.

In terms of camera specifications, the Pixel 8 Pro is expected to feature a 48MP ultrawide camera with a 125.5-degree field of view and a 48MP telephoto lens, alongside a 50MP wide camera. The standard Pixel 8 will include a 12MP ultrawide camera with an increased field of view from 114 degrees to 125.8 degrees.

These camera enhancements demonstrate Google's commitment to integrating advanced AI capabilities into its flagship smartphones, promising an improved photography experience for users.
